A creative dream

March 22, 2009

Have you ever had a dream about scrapping a layout? Well I did last night! I dreamt that I splashed black acrylic paint on my cardstock and when it dried I cross-stitched along the side of the paint. So of course I had to act on this dream. I think my layout turned out very accurate compared to what I dreamt 😉

Last night I also visited Leeann’s blog and seen her little tutorial on making foam scallops from craft foam and I happened to have some, so I played with making a foam scallop as well. All in all I was very happy with my finished layout 🙂out for publication

I love these blue glitter thickers and the little heart pins from Fancy Pants 🙂

Here is a close-up of the foam scallop. You can see that I have attached it with a couple of black cross-stitches as well

And lastly I took a close-up of the cross-stitches. I used the Cutter Bee from EK success that I bought from the retreat. Miss Sheree did a demo with them and I nearly burned up the carpet getting to Maria to buy them. It is so much easier using the Cutter Bee than having to sit and do all the holes by hand with a peircer. Also when doing holes with a peircer you don’t always get the holes evenly spaced – which isn’t a problem when you use the Cutter Bee 😀 So have I sold you too 😆

Ok that’s my share for today 🙂
