Mini Album
Cut coreboard 15cm x 26.5cm.
Trim 1.5cm from the short side. This will become the spine of your album. Cut the remaining board into 2 equal lengths of 12.5cm.
cover_template

Take your main (1) 12 x 12 pattern paper (PP) and cut a length 18cm.
Measure in 1.5cm on each side and score then fold. Trim off the corners to make attaching to your coreboard neater and easier. Cover the coreboard with glue and place onto your PP, aligning each side with the score marks. Glue the center spine down centering it between the two sides. You need to have a small gap so your cover won’t tear when closing your album. Add glue to the sides and fold over the coreboard. Hold till dry. Then add glue to the top and bottom side flaps and fold over the coreboard and hold till dry.

cover_11
Take your 70cm of black/white polka dot ribbon and using DS tape, attach horizontally across the middle of your album. Add extra DS tape, vertically, at the ends. This give the bow end more strength were your album closes.
Take your main (2) PP and cut to 14.5cm x 27cm. I like to distress the edges by laying flat and running a sanding block around the edges. Cover using a glue stick and glue to the inside of your mini album making sure all the edges are even.

COVER
Fold your red flower in half and attach to your cover 9.5cm from the bottom and 3cm from the right hand side
Cut a piece of your white chenille PP to 10cm x 8.5cm
Attach to the front of your album at 1.5cm from the bottom and 2cm from the left.
Cut a 2cm strip of the striped PP and cut to 12cm long. Attach over the Chenille PP 2cm from the bottom and .5cm from the left hand side.
Cut a strip of your black scalloped CS 2cm wide and trim to 11.5cm. Attach over the striped PP 1cm from the left and 2.8cm from the bottom. Take your black button and attach to the middle bottom of your red flower.
Punch a scalloped circle and fold over the top edge 2cm from the right hand side.
Using the thickers attach the word LOVE on the white Chenille cardstock and using the tiny etched stickers on the scalloped circle add the words “Cherished Memories”. You can also add any other embellishments that you like. I have added a small diamante swirls under the word LOVE.

Next take your white cardstock (CS) and cut into 2 lengths, 14cm wide.
Join together (on the short sides) with an overlap of around 1cm.
Create 4 folds at 12cm intervals, with a small overlap of 2.5cm at the end. Trim off the remaining.
Doodle, ink, paint or distress each edge.
Cover the small fold with a piece of main 2 PP. The small fold is then attached on the left hand side of your album.

Now we can start to embellish each page.
NOTE: all pieces are cut to a width of just under 12cm wide.
Start by cutting your PP to the following:
Stripe P177 (Tiffany) = 8cm x 12cm
2cm x 12cm
1 x 2cm x 14.5cm
Spot P178 (Isabel) = 8cm x 12cm
2.5cm x 12cm
3cm x 12cm
Black scallop = 2.5cm x 12cm
White CS = punch 2 x 2½ inch circle. Cut the two in half. 1 x 2½ inch scalloped circle.
Put your strips and punchies aside while we work on each individual page in your album.

Page 1
Starting from the bottom attach your scallop .5cm from the bottom.
Next attach your 8cm striped P177.
Lastly take your 2cm striped P177 and turn over using the floral side, attach butted up to your striped PP.
Finish your page by adding your white semi-circle 2cm from the bottom on the left hand side of your page.

PAGE TWO
Staring ¾ cm from the bottom attach your 2cm striped P177 paper.
Next take your 8cm striped P177 paper and turn over to the floral side. Attach butted to your first striped PP.
Lastly attach 2.5cm spot P178 paper.
Finish by adding your semi-circle scalloped punch 4cm from the bottom on the right hand side.

PAGE 3
Starting .5cm from the bottom attach you 2.5 cm spot paper P178.
Next take your 8cm spot paper P178 and turn over to the floral side. Attach butted to your spot paper.
Now attach your 2.5 cm black scallop cardstock and attach 1½ cm from the top. This should overlap your floral paper.
Lastly take your 2 cm stripe paper P177 and turn over to the floral side, attach 1.2 cm from the top.
Finish off by attaching a half circle punchie 2.5 cm from the top on the left hand side.

PAGE 4
Start with your 2 cm x 14.5cm strip of stripe paper P177 and attach .7 cm from the bottom going off the right hand side of the page by 1 cm. Fold and attach the remaining to the back of the page. This creates a little pull tag to open your finished pages.
Next attach your 8 cm spot paper P178.
Lastly take your 3cm spot paper P178 and turn over to the flora side.
Finish off with a half circle 2.5cm from the top and fold a red floral in half and attach with a button to the bottom of your stripe paper and about .5 cm from the right hand side.

TAG POCKETS
Now we need to add the tag pockets to the back of your finished pages.
Take your white cards stock and cut 4, 14 x 11.9 cm rectangles. Take your circle punch and insert the short side of your cardstock half way and punch. You should end up with 4 rectangles with a half circle punched from the top.
Attach a thing double sided tape to the 3 full edges and attach to the back of your first page. Make sure you leave a small gap at the folded edges (approx. 1 – 2mm) this stops your pages from becoming too bulky and making them hard to close when finished.

TAGS
Cut 4, 9 cm x 12 cm tags. Trim the top corners at an angle. Fold a black floral in half and attach a tab of left over patterned paper, 2 cm x 3.5 cm, folded over to the back of your tag.
Lastly punch a hole in the center and tie a piece of 18 cm red/white polka dot ribbon through the hole.
I have used a journaling stamp for my journaling but you could draw some faint pencil lines.
I have finished off my tags with left over strips of patterned paper that I have cut or torn.

Apart from adding your own photo’s and journaling your mini album is all finished. You could keep it for yourself or give it to a loved one…it would also make a lovely gift for a wedding or engagement.
